Singer's Gym Summer Audition Intensive in Maine

Are you ready to give your best audition ever?

You can receive expert dramatic and musical coaching on your audition material at the Singer's Gym Summer Audition Intensive.

At the workshop you will:
 * Hone and polish your best audition pieces
 * Greatly improve your audition experience
 * Receive feedback on your audition list
 * Have the opportunity to perform your pieces

This audition intensive will focus on:
 * Detailed work on audition arias or musical numbers
 * Acting and music coaching
 * Creating a presence
 * Dealing with the audition environment
 * Clarifying your intention to get the role


Also included will be an in-depth class on nerves. You will learn specific tools to how to turn anxiety and self-doubt into productive, useful energy.

The workshop will be conducted by Ben Bernstein and Donald Sosin both master coaches and musicians with years of experience working with singers at every level of professional work.

The workshop will be held in Damariscotta, a beautiful coastal town in Maine. At this time of year there is wonderful sailing, dining, and exquisite New England scenery.

The fee for the workshop is $750. This covers all tuition and instructional costs.

For accommodation we have been offered rooms at the Carpenter's Boatshop on Pemaquid Point, a short drive from Damariscotta. These are single rooms in basic farmhouse style at the rate of $35 per night. Kitchen privileges are included (you provide your own food). The Damariscotta/Pemaquid area has many other options for accommodations/meals. If you would like to investigate these we can provide you with helpful resources.
